King Kat
RR - NN |
 |
|
Kool Kat x Jag |
|
WOW, a ram with a loin that is this big and square that carries back into an awesome hip and still holds his chest floor and front end together this well is hard to find.
King Kat provides all these qualities and we were able to bring him home to Colorado. The second I put my hands on this lamb I knew he was the one that was going to make the changes we needed in our lambs.
King Kat was the second place February Hamp buck lamb in Sedalia, 2005. He is out the highly acclaimed Kool Kat, which goes back to the great 118 ram from the Cabiness flock.

Benelli RR - NN |
 |
|
Gunslinger x Jag |
|
Benelli is a
buck that is very unique in his overall makeup. The one word that
best describes this sheep is "Massive" His rack, loin, hip, and leg
all fall under this description. The squarness out of his dock, his
rib shape and elevation are unmatched when you combine his other
traits. We feel he is going to have a major impact on the maternal
base of our program. He is out of Gunslinger (Pistol son) on a Jag
daughter.

Blues Man
RR - NN |
 |
|
New Trend x
Hancock (uno) |
|
We purchased 2/3 interest of Blues
Man in the spring of 2004
from Mark Overman. Blues Man's pedigree speaks for itself, he is lined up on both
the top and bottom side. He goes back to Trendsetter on an Hancock (uno)
ewe. He puts it all together for our program, he is long sided,
extremely clean and extended through his front, very explosive down his
top and full down through his twist and lower leg. He has already
produced some very competitive wethers and ewe lambs and has had the
competition singing the BLUES!!!

| Champ RR - NN |
|
5110 x Focus daughter |
|
Champ could quite possibly be
the most complete stud ram we have ever used. He complies all the
traits that are in demand in every show ring across the nation.
Shallow chested, tremendous rib shape and he his hip set and leg
shape leave little to be desired. His pedigree is as rich as anyone
could put together. His daddy is 5110 which is a son of one of the
most popular and legendary bucks of our time Ultra. We have very
high hopes for this one. Thanks to Nate Resch for helping us find
the missing piece.

Kool Kat
X Ambush |
|
This is a Kool Kat son from MacLennan 2005
lamb crop. Kopy Kats has remarkable similarities to his father.
His length of body, extension and rib design clearly came from
the same mold, as he is tucked up exceptionally neat through his
chest floor and very dimensional in the shape to his rib cage.
Not to mention he inherited his fathers big flat loin and the
same muscle pattern that makes Kool Kat so popular. Those who
have seen him rave about his massive bone substance and
structural correctness and all agree that he is a bigger hipped
version of his father. His dam is Ambush daughter which makes
him deeply Cabaniss bred on both sides increasing his value as a
predictable wether sire. We are extremely excited to see the
lambs out of Kopy Kat and expect big things from him as a stud
buck in our operation.

| Big Foot RR - NN |
|
5110 x Colonel |
|
Big Foot was a must have when we lost Champ in the spring of 2008. When the Champ babies were born I felt he was making the changes I had hoped for, and spoke with Nate about possibly buying another buck from there program. When Champ died it was a no brainer. I wanted a 5110 on a Colonel, since the Colonel daughters were working so well on Kopy Kat. Big Foot was the only 5110 x Colonel mating they had in 2008. We didn't get to use him early for 2009 babies but were able to get a few ewe lambs bred to him late.

| Ca Ching |
 |
Cimmeron x Cabaniss/Miller |
|
MacLennans were kind enough to lease us Ca Ching for our 2009 lamb crop, we were more than pleased when the lambs hit the ground. We used him on a select group of ewes that we felt he would excel on and did he ever. Neat ribbed, big square loin edges, big hip set and lots of shag on the legs. We have a number of wethers going to sales out of him as well as many private sales with his babies.
